The Clemson Basketball social media team released the jersey numbers for the upcoming season on the morning of June 10. With many new faces on the team, basketball fans were excited to see what the players had chosen for their jersey number this year. Here is a list of the new numbers.
Guards
#1 – Jestin Porter (Graduate Senior)
#2 – Dillon Hunter (Senior)
#4 – Butta Johnson (Senior)
#5 – Zac Foster (Freshman)
#21 – Ace Buckner (Redshirt Freshman)
Forwards
#0 – RJ Godfrey (Senior)
#3 – Chase Thompson (Freshman)
#8 – Dallas Thomas (Redshirt Freshman)
#10 – Jake Wahlin (Junior)
#14 – Blake Davidson (Freshman)
#22 – Carter Welling (Junior)
Centers
#11 – Nick Davidson (Redshirt Senior)
#44 – Trent Steinour (Freshman)
Clemson Basketball only brought three players back from last season’s roster (Dillon Hunter, Ace Buckner, and Dallas Thomas), but there are still high expectations for Brad Brownell’s squad as they seek their third straight tournament appearance. With those lofty goals comes a lot of pressure for Clemson. Hopefully the release of jersey numbers isn’t the most excited the Clemson Basketball fan base will get this upcoming season.
