Welcome to Clemson!
Clemson Softball has made its first splash in the transfer portal with the addition of Kiley Channell, a standout infielder from Florida Atlantic. A two-year starter for the Owls, Channell brings an impressive mix of production, poise, and potential to Tigertown.
She was named the 2024 AAC Rookie of the Year, earned All-Rookie Team honors, and followed it up in 2025 with Second Team All-AAC and CSC Academic All-District selections. This past season, Channell hit .330 with 59 hits, 34 runs, and 44 RBIs, while leading FAU with 14 doubles. She posted a strong .851 OPS, combining a .387 OBP with a .464 slugging percentage.
Her addition comes at a crucial time for Clemson, following the graduation of key infielders Maddie Moore and Alex Brown. With two full collegiate seasons under her belt and a proven ability to hit for average, Channell is expected to compete for a starting spot and contribute immediately to the Tigers’ infield.
Smart at the plate and steady with the glove, Channell fits the mold of what head coach John Rittman looks for in a Clemson Tiger—and her arrival adds depth to a program that has proven they can compete on the national stage.
