Clemson softball added another key piece from the transfer portal with the commitment of Corri Hicks, a freshman catcher/first baseman from Oklahoma. Hicks becomes the Tigers’ fourth portal addition this offseason and is expected to help fill the void left by graduating catcher Aby Vieira.
Hicks appeared in 24 games for the Sooners in 2025, making five starts. She hit .261 with six hits, three home runs, eight RBIs, and three runs scored. She capped her freshman campaign with a postseason homer in an 8-0 run-rule win over Boston in the NCAA Norman Regional.
The former Sooner made her debut on Feb. 7 at Fullerton and recorded her first RBI in a win over Tulsa. Hicks hit her first collegiate home run on April 1 against UT Arlington, driving in four runs, then followed with another blast two days later vs. St. Thomas. She made her first SEC start at Alabama on April 14.
With power potential and experience from a championship-caliber program, Hicks gives Clemson a strong option behind the plate as the Tigers continue to reload for 2026.
