Another one and they aren’t done yet..
Clemson Baseball has picked up another commitment, with Ty Dalley announcing his plan to join the Tigers on X. Dalley, who played for the Mercer Bears the last three seasons, is a huge power threat, something that Clemson was missing this season. Over the course of his career at Mercer, the Georgia native tallied a .286 batting average, .370 on-base percentage, and a .628 slugging percentage, while hitting 58 home runs, 49 doubles, and driving in 188 runners.
In 2025, Dalley tallied a .280 batting average, .357 on-base percentage, .592 slugging percentage, and a .949 OPS. Dalley led Mercer in home runs (19), doubles (21), runs batted in (61), and total bases (144). The first baseman/outfielder will have one more year of eligibility left for the Tigers, and should be a huge part of the Clemson lineup next season. This is exactly the type of player Erik Bakich and the Clemson Tigers have needed.
After the season that Ty Dalley had there could be some intrigue from MLB teams in July for the upcoming MLB Draft, but as of right now, he is a Clemson Tiger. With Cam Cannarella most likely leaving for the MLB Draft, Clemson will hope that Dalley can stick around for his Senior season in Tiger Town.
